CLOVIS, NM -- Officials in Clovis announced the creation of 350 new jobs there by the end of 2015.
The Clovis Industrial Development Corporation (CIDC) announced that Beauty Health and Science Innovations (BHSI) expressed its intent to move its corporate headquarters and cosmetic manufacturing to Clovis.
It may create more than 120 jobs in its first year.
"We owe our city commissioners a great round of thank you, because back in the past before we had this fund to do what we do now, I was on the economic development committee and we didn't have these tools, we didn't have the incentives that we have now and we lost some things because of that." said Clovis Mayor, Gayla Brumfield.
The company is expected to grow to 350 employees by the end of 2015, with an average salary of more than $31,000.
