AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you're gearing up for Black Friday, watch out for more than just crazy shoppers.
The Better Business Bureau is recommending a few important tips to safeguard your big shopping weekend. Whether you're shopping in a store or online, make sure you know the store and any of their return or layaway policies. If you are shopping online, always use a credit card and of course, be on guard always. Protect your packages, purses, and personal information.
"We want people to be aware of their surroundings. Make sure they secure their packages and make sure they secure all of their purses and wallets and that type of personal information, especially if they're continually getting it out of their purse", said Better Business Bureau CEO, Janna Kiehl.
The BBBalso advises you to be aware of deals that are "too" extreme, or good to be true. For more tips from the Better Business Bureau, check out their website.
