AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you don't mind staying up late, getting up early or even camping out through the whole night, you're probably in for some good deals this Black Friday.
Retailers have been busy gearing up for the shopping holiday as well, making sure their discounts, deals and steals are ready for the big day.
"Everything in the store is on sale," said Old Navy Store Manager, Shannon McGimsey. "Adult denim starting at ten dollars, we've got coats starting at 50 percent off."
Sales Manager for the women's Dillards in Westgate Mall, Delilah Lucero, assures that both of their stores will also have some great buys.
"There's 50 percent off select Waterford and select comforters, there's 40 percent off our pre-lit trees. They come already lit," said Lucero. "Our Dillards card holders, Friday only, get a ten dollar rewards certificate for every 50 dollar purchase that they get."
If it's electronics that strike your fancy when bargain hunting you probably won't be the only one standing outside Best Buy either. One of their bigger "deals" is a 42 inch HDTV for only about 200 bucks!
As usual, if you're brave enough to face the crowds, get ready for a little madness.
"It is absolute madness, you will see everyone in here, literally, everyone will be elbow to elbow with the person next to them," said Customer Solutions Manager for Best Buy, Bryan Hayes.
If you need a little help finding some of those deals, there are plenty of free apps out there just waiting to be downloaded. Most of them, like Black Friday App, will help you locate Black Friday ads, let you make a store list or even share the ads via e-mail, Facebook or Twitter.
Of course, the apps won't wait in line for you. You're on your own for that.
