AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The race is on for the Texas district 87 house seat, and two men who ran for it last time are doing it again.
Last year, Republican Four Price won with more than 75 percent of the vote, beating out Democrat Abel Bosquez and Independent James Hudspeth.
As of now, Price and Bosquez are the only people to file for the seat, and each looks forward to the race.
"I think the issues will play our during the primaries and of course throughout the general election. Our strategies will be the same to be sure we speak to as many citizens in the district as possible," said Price.
"This time it's a new feeling, but I know what to expect and what to look for," said Bosquez.
We also spoke with State Senator Kel Seliger, he says he has filed for re-election, but has not yet made a formal announcement.
