AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A pair of Pantexan employees hit the road this morning at 8a.m. to literally help stamp out hunger in the Texas Panhandle.
Byron Logan and Randy Stokes ran more than 30 miles from Pantex to the High Plains Food Bank's food drive, in an effort to gather donations for families in need during the holiday season.
The two were picking up donations during their journey, in hopes of filling up the armored Bearcat that was following them along the way.
"First thing is why we do it, we didn't do it for each other or anybody else, we did it for the Panhandle and people that don't have what we have. we should all feel blessed that we have, as Pantex employees, what we have," said Logan.
Luckily it wasn't just those two who made the journey, they were joined along the way by four other brave runners.
