AMARILLO -- A pizza delivery man was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday evening as he was attempting to deliver a pizza.

Amarillo Police said the man was attempting to deliver a pizza to what turned out to be a vacant home in the 1300 block of Northwest 14th Street just before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. As the delivery man was approaching the home, two teenagers came up to him, police said.

The teenagers, according to police, told the delivery man that there was a mistake with the price. As the delivery man was putting the pizza back in the carry bag, one of the teenagers pilled out a semi automatic pistol and pushed it against the delivery man's stomach, police said.

According to police, the teenager told the delivery man to leave the pizza and all his money. The delivery man abided by the request and the teenagers took of running westbound.

Officers checked several nearby houses for suspects but no one was located. The first suspect, who was armed with the gun, is described as a black male, 15-17 years old, 5'6"-5'8" and 120-140 pounds. The second suspect is described as a black male, 13-14 years old, 5'3"-5'4" and 100-120 pounds.

Any information on this crime should be reported to Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400.
