AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Two women, including an employee of Dollar General, have been charged with theft after police said the women faked a robbery last week.
It was last Friday when police said a woman walked into the Dollar General in the 2700 block of SW 10th Ave. and demanded money as she held a semi-automatic pistol.
During investigation, police said they developed information that the victim and suspect knew each other and the robbery may not have been an actual robbery.
Amarillo Police on Monday determined 31-year-old Breia Damaris Jicha was the suspect who committed the robbery. Officers were able to seize the cash that may have been taken from the incident. A weapon was never recovered, police said.
Jicha was booked into the Potter County Correctional Center on two traffic warrants and a charge of theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.
As for the Dollar General employee, 20-year-old Sarah Nicole Crisman, she was arrested Wednesday afternoon on a warrant of theft over $1,500 and under $20,000.
