AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Every year, the Amarillo Globe News picks its Man and Woman of the Year-- and those winners were announced Tuesday.
The award is based on a number of factors, including leadership and their efforts in the community and the work they do on behalf of the city.
The woman of the year for 2011 is Brenda Graham: called the "Energizer Bunny" by the paper, she's noted for her public service, work on different boards and non profit organizations.
And the paper's man of the year is: Glenn McMenemy, known for his work on helping to secure the Amarillo national center along with his inexhaustible volunteer work.
