Eating some Taco Bell for breakfast may soon become a reality.
The fast-food Mexican-style food change is introducing a new breakfast menu at almost 800 of its restaurants.
According to NPD Group, breakfast is the fastest-growing business in fast food.
The first 800 restaurants are in mostly Western states. No word yet if any Panhandle stores are set to serve breakfast.
Taco Bell Chief Marketing and Innovation Officer Brian Niccol said if the launch is successful, breakfast burritos will be sold nationwide by the start of 2014.
As for the new menu items, it includes breakfast burritos with eggs and either sausage, bacon or steak, has browns, iced or hot coffee and of course, orange juice.
More and more restaurants have added breakfast to their menus recently. That includes chains like Subway.
