A $10,000 reward is now being offered in the case that left the Estelline City Hall burned.
Texas Department of Public Safety said the money is being offered by the City of Estelline.
"The City of Estelline has offered a 10,000 dollar reward for the arrest and conviction of the person or persons who are responsible for the fire at the Estelline City Hall", said DPS Trooper Daniel Hawthorne.
It was earlier this week when officials first announced that they believed the fire at the City Hall from last week was the work of an arsonist.
The Texas Rangers along with City of Estelline officials are continuing their investigation into the fire. It was rumored that a speed sign at the edge of the city was involved. According to a news release, that is not the case and that person was not involved in the blaze.
City officials said the inside of the building is a total loss.
Any information on this crime should be submitted to the DPS office in Childress at (940) 937-254
"The Texas Rangers and the Estelline City police are continuing to look for suspects and process evidence," Trooper Hawthorne said.
