AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 22-year-old Amarillo man is in life-threatening condition after police said his vehicle rolled several times.
Amarillo Police said a 1998 Toyota 4Runner was traveling northbound in the 6000 block of the Dumas highway just before 1:30 a.m.Tuesday.
The 4Runner, driven by 22-year-old Tristan Kern of Amarillo, skidded into the center median and rolled several times, police said. According to authorities, Kern failed to control his speed. Speed was a factor in the crash, police confirmed.
Kern was transported to a local hospital where his injuries were listed as life-threatening.
The crash is under investigation by the Traffic Investigation Division of Amarillo Police
