More than $350,000 in marijuana was seized during a traffic stop off Interstate 40 in Oldham County Saturday morning.

Texas Department of Public Safety stopped a 2012 Mitsubishi Galant about 14 miles west of Amarillo Saturday morning just before 11.

Consent to search the vehicle was denied. As a result, a DPS K-9 unit was brought in. It conducted a free air sniff and had a positive alert to the vehicle, DPS said.

A subsequent search yielded 66 pounds of marijuana. That marijuana was valued at $356,838. It was found inside the trunk and was being transported, according to DPS, from Fresno to Ft. Worth.

Yer Chang, 54, of Fresno and Amanda Saytaypha, 34, of Ft. Worth were both arrested for possession of marijuana.
