Have a hot check in Potter County?
You should probably take care of it soon as the Potter County Attorney's Office will be hitting the streets to "round up" hot check writers with outstanding arrest warrants.
According to Potter County, there is no safe haven from an arrest warrant. Those with warrants can be served at their homes, their jobs or basically anywhere where they can be found.
Starting now and until Feb. 27, those with an active warrants in the county or those with unpaid hot checks, are encouraged to contact the County Attorney's Office to make arrangements to resolve their cases.
On Feb. 27, investigators will hit the streets to catch those with unpaid hot checks and outstanding warrants.

"The focus of this initiative is to bring to justice those hot check writers who have been extended repeated opportunities to pay the costs associated with their checks, but have failed or refused to do so," the County said in a news release.
