Man arrested for attempted robbery in Dumas after 2 hour search

DUMAS, TEXAS -- A 40-year-old man was booked into the Moore County Jail after police said he attempted to rob a convenience store.

Jeremy Livingston, 40, of Chewelah, Wash., according to Dumas Police, entered the Pak A Sak in the 100 block of North Dumas Avenue at about 7:45 Wednesday evening.

Police said Livingston approached the clerk and demanded money. He then fled on foot, police said.

A two hour search ended with authorities arresting Livingston in fields south of Dumas.

Livingston was booked on a charge of Attempted Robbery.
