PAMPA, TEXAS -- Update 1:09p
Pampa Police have confirmed to Pronews 7 that Joe Crotwell has been located.
He's been missing since Sunday and now the community of Pampa is hoping to find him.
Joe Crotwell, pictured to the right, is 6'7", 45 years old and has a thin build. Weighing 220 pounds, he has brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen Sunday morning at about 10:45 wearing wranglers and a black biker jacket. Police said he was on foot and leaving his home in Pampa. He told his family he was going for a walk, police added.
"He just took off walking," said Detective Jason Collier, Pampa Police. "We have entered him into a missing persons database."
Det. Collier noted that Crotwell walks with a limp because of a previous motorcycle accident.
Pampa Police says it has no leads on Crotwell's whereabouts.
"We have no leads as to where he might be," he said. "We can't verify any other specific information."
Family members and the community of Pampa have come together on Facebook to help spread the word on his disappearance. According to posts on the social media site, a search party was formed early Tuesday to help find Crotwell.
