AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A $10,000 reward is being offered by Amarillo National Bank for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the pair who robbed the bank's Coulter Branch Friday afternoon.

The suspects are described as an Hispanic female wearing a pink cap and an Hispanic male about 5'6", 200 pounds, wearing a blue shirt and possibly Dickie brand pants.

It was Friday afternoon when the pair walked into the bank at the intersection of Interstate 40 and Coulter at about 3:20 p.m. Friday and demanded money.

"A panic alarm went off at 3:23 and officers responded within two minutes," said Amarillo Police Cpl. Jerry Neufeld.

Police said the female suspect approached the teller and made a comment about them being watched. The male suspect, according to police, then lifted up his shirt to display a weapon. He then demanded money and the teller gave him an undetermined amount, police said.

The pair then took off running. Police said the two may have been seen getting out of a "beat up" looking car. It is described as an older white four-door car.

Any information on this crime can be directed to Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 374-4400 or submitted online.
