OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - National Board certified teachers will receive their $5,000 annual stipend, and school districts will be reimbursed for insurance benefits for teachers under a bill signed into law by Gov. Mary Fallin.

Fallin on Monday signed a $92.5 million supplemental funding measure that also includes $34 million to reimburse local communities for costs incurred for cleaning up storm damage and $5 million to hire more Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers. The bill also includes $1 million for personnel and equipment for the state medical examiner's office.

The revenue used to supplemental the current fiscal year funding comes mostly from surplus collections.

Fallin says all of the funding measures are "both urgent and necessary."
