POTTER CO., TEXAS -- A Fritch woman is listed in critical condition after her pickup crashed on Highway 136 early Wednesday morning.

Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) said alcohol is a possible factor in the crash. '

At about 2:16 a.m., 33-year-old Deamber D. Neal of fritch was driving a 2001 Dodge pickup northbound on SH 136 three miles south of the Hutchinson County line. That's when DPS said Neal was approaching curve in the roadway and veered off to the right.

Neal then overocorrected back to the left which caused the pickup to overturn once and flip end over end twice, DPS said.

According to DPS, Neal was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected during the crash.

She was transported to Northwest Texas Hospital where she was last listed in critical condition with spinal injuries.

The crash remains under investigation, DPS said.
