The man convicted of killing three people in Amarillo in 1998 has been denied a review by the United States Supreme Court.
John Balentine was convicted of killing three teenagers in Amarillo in 1998. The Supreme Court denied a Certiorari review for Balentine. That means his stay of execution has been terminated.
He was previously scheduled to be executed last June but the Supreme Court granted a stay of execution. His lawyers argued that he had poor legal representation during his trial and in early appeals.
