AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 29-year-old man driving a motorcycle early Wednesday afternoon was transported to a local hospital after officials said he suffered "serious injuries."
The crash happened near Coulter on Loop 335.
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) on scene, a 75-year-old woman, identified as Nannie Woodman, was pulling on to the Loop from VFW road and hit the motorcycle on its right side. The man on the motorcycle was traveling southbound on the Loop.
Authorities said the man may not have been wearing a helmet because of extreme injuries to his head. DPS also said the man suffered serious injuries to his leg.
