"I love Easter because I get to spend time with my family and my dog," said Laken Payne.

He also loves going on Easter egg hunts.

Unfortunately for many children, some areas are canceling their hunts because of last years bad behavior, by the parents.

"Sadly, it doesn't surprise me because sometimes parents don't act any better than the kids," said Ali Johnson as she was walking around the Amarillo zoo with her children and friends. "No special event is planned for us, well, because sometimes parents just don't know how to act."

A hunt in Colorado Springs has been canceled and one in Macon, Ga. after a woman and several children were injured last year.

Fortunately, no hunts have been canceled in Amarillo.
