OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - It won't cost as much to skip a toll in Oklahoma. Governor Mary Fallin signed legislation yesterday that reduces the fine for second and subsequent toll violations to a flat $25 fee. Under the old law, it cost $25 for the first violation, $50 for the second and $75 for a third.
FORT GIBSON, Okla. (AP) - Former Oklahoma Governor Brad Henry is set to officially endorse Democrat Rob Wallace later this week in the 2nd Congressional District race. Campaign officials say the former two-term governor will join Wallace for the announcement on Friday. Wallace faces two other opponents in the primary.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - The Oklahoma Senate passed legislation yesterday that creates an infrastructure bank to receive and distribute federal money for infrastructure improvements in the state. The measure was already approved in the House and now heads to Governor Mary Fallin.
MIAMI, Okla. (AP) - Oklahoma's state auditor and inspector says he's conducting an investigative audit of a Tar Creek trust authority. Gary Jones says the attorney general requested the probe of the Lead-Impacted Communities Relocation Trust to see if there were infractions involving a contract that was awarded for cleanup work.
