EL PASO, Texas (AP) - A lawyer for the family of a 15-year-old Mexican boy killed by a U.S. Border Patrol agent in 2010 says they will proceed with their lawsuit. Attorney Robert Hilliard says there's no evidence that Sergio Hernandez-Guereca threw rocks at the agent from Mexico before the agent shot him. U.S. prosecutors announced last week that there wasn't sufficient evidence to charge the agent.
ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) - One man is dead after gunfire erupted outside a North Texas pool hall. Arlington police say two others were wounded in last night's shooting. Authorities say 22-year-old Zadric Walker was shot and killed after a fight that started inside the club moved to the parking lot.
HOUSTON (AP) - Houston police are questioning a teenager after an 11-year-old boy was shot and killed at an apartment complex. Authorities are trying to determine whether a 15-year-old boy fired the gun yesterday afternoon. Investigators believe the shooting was an accident.
KATY, Texas (AP) - Authorities say two people are dead after their vehicle crashed during a police chase. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office says the accident happened earlier today near Katy as officers tried to stop the car for speeding. A third person inside the car has been taken to a Houston hospital.
