CANYON, TEXAS -- A former Canyon ISD employee is being accused of misconduct with a student, the district said.
CISD said it was informed of the allegations on April 30.
According to the district, the individual was temporarily employed with CISD for a short time, from March 9 until April 26.
"The individual is no longer employed with the district in any capacity," the district said in a statement.
Law enforcement has been notified of the allegations, officials said.
"The district will cooperate with law enforcement to the extent permitted by law and has taken all appropriate actions relating to this individual," the district said. "The district will have no further comment on this matter unless new information or allegations are presented."
