AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Alcohol and speed are contributing factors in a motorcycle crash that left one of its passengers in life-threatning condition, police said.
At about 6:46 Saturday morning, police said they were dispatched to the 100 block of Interstate 40 where a 2007 Harley Davidson had side-swiped large black barriers.
The motorcycle was driven by 21-year-old Skyler Goolsby of Dumas. He was transported to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
A passenger of the motorcycle, 21-year-old Tashya Tshae Allen of Dumas was transported with life-threatening injuries.
Neither were wearing helmets, police said.
The crash is continuing to be investigated by the Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department.
