AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Two people were arrested early Friday morning after a traffic stop yielded a revolver and controlled substances.
The traffic stop happened just after midnight in the 3800 block of Amarillo Boulevard East. Officers said they saw a man pushing a motorcycle in the turn lane. Behind him was a female.
After making contact with both people, police said it was discovered the man, 32-year-old Henry Mullane, had outstanding traffic warrants. Officers said they also discovered the female, 21-year-old Stormie Jean Davis was carrying a revolver in her backpack.
Police said both people were then handcuffed and placed in patrol cars. Inside the backpack, officers said they also found narcotic paraphernalia and several debit/credit cards.
Additionally, Mullane, according to police, was found to be in possession of a controlled substance.
Mullane was booked for the outstanding traffic warrants and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Davis was booked for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, fraudulent use/possession of Identifying information, possession of narcotic paraphernalia and pedestrian in roadway.
