AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The start of 2012-2013 Fall Semester Registration was an unhappy reminder for many Amarillo Independent School District students on Monday that the start of the school year is right around the corner.
Campuses in the Canyon Independent School District will also host registration later in the week.
Many campuses and grade levels will host registration on various days of the week at various times. It's also important that parents and guardians remember to bring appropriate documentation to register their student such as a birth certificate, current immunization records, social security card, proof of residency and picture ID for person enrolling the student.

The first day of school for both AISD and CISD students is August 27.
