AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo Bulls are giving back to our community with their latest project to raise money for Amarillo's Habitat for Humanity.

Three players, Sam Johnson, Ryan Cole, and Jude Warner have decided this year's community project would be to raise close to $25,000 for Habitat. The players will also be volunteering their time working on a Habitat project, individually and as a team.

Here's where they're asking for the community's help. The team is asking you help out by donating at their games, at their office, or with team purchases. They'll also have tins set up at their games to accept donations.

The Amarillo Bulls are actively involved in the community. In fact, the team has won the NAHL Community Service Award two years in a row, and say they want to make it three.

"It's just giving back to the community that's given so much to us. We see so many fans out there and when you walk around town you see the flags waving and the stickers on their cars, it means a lot to us so this is something we can do to help our community out a little bit," said Ryan Cole, Amarillo Bulls Player.

Call the Amarillo Bulls office at 242-1122 to make a donation.

You are invited to attend their exhibition games on September 6th and 7th. Advance tickets are $5.00 and $8.00 at the game. Meantime, their regular season starts on September 29th.
