TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Eight firefighters were hurt this morning while battling an early morning fire at a Tulsa charter school. The firefighters got burns on their hands and faces as they tried to extinguish the flames at the Tulsa School of Arts and Sciences. Authorities say the fire that began around 5 a.m. started in the chemistry lab.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - More than 700 customers are without power this morning after strong storms passed through the Oklahoma City area. Oklahoma Gas & Electric says the outages are mostly affecting customers in south and west Oklahoma City.

TULSA, Okla. (AP) - Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett is getting ready to deliver his state of the city address tomorrow at the Tulsa Convention Center. Bartlett's expected to use the time to update area leaders on the city's potential business prospects.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - A daylong celebration at the Governor's Mansion this weekend will include art, children's activities, interactive exhibits, live entertainment and storytelling. Saturday's 16th annual Septemberfest will also take place at the nearby Oklahoma History Center.
