Amarillo teenager missing since May found safe

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The teenager missing out of Amarillo since May has been located, police said.

Alyssa Marie Pina, 15, was first reported missing on May 29, 2012. Police said she was listed in a national database as a Missing Person Juvenile. She was also reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Police said Pina was located by investigators from the Texas Attorney General's office in the 800 block of North Lincoln.

Pina, according to police, was placed with a family friend.
