OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Oklahoma Treasurer Ken Miller is headed to the Oklahoma State Fair with $350 million in unclaimed property.

The treasurer and his employees will staff a booth at the fair in Oklahoma City with a list of 600,000 Oklahomans who are owed unclaimed property. The fair opens Thursday and runs through Sept. 23.

This will mark the 12th year the office has operated the "Pot of Gold" booth. The office staffs booths at state fairs in Oklahoma City and Tulsa and has distributed more than $5 million to more than 11,000 fair patrons.

Cash and property are turned over to the treasurer's office when businesses holding them lose track of the owners. Included are bank accounts, security deposits, paychecks, royalties, rebates, stocks, bonds and the contents of abandoned safe deposit boxes.
