GUYMON, OKLA. -- The U.S. Immigration (ICE) and Customs Enforcements Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) is conducting an operation at the Seaboard Foods plant in Guymon, authorities announced on Wednesday evening.

Authorities said no arrests are anticipated during the operation. The operation, according to authorities, regards a law enforcement investigation.

The Guymon Police Department said it was not aware of why the investigation was happening.

Sources said government vehicles along with a moving truck were seen at the Seaboard pork plant on Wednesday taking boxes.

In a statement released to Pronews 7, Seaboard said federal law enforcement reviewed and collected documents at Seaboard Foods' Shawnee Mission, Kan., and Guymon, Okla., properties.

"The company and its employees are cooperating fully and are committed to upholding legal practices and protocols throughout all aspects of our business," the statement read.

According to ICE's website, the Homeland Security Investigations unit is "responsible for investigating a wide range of domestic and international activities arising from the illegal movement of people and goods into, within and out of the United States."

Authorities said no further details would be released because the operation is ongoing.
