AMARILLO, TEXAS -- In honor of Underwood Law Firm's 100th anniversary this year, the firm teamed up with Amarillo National Bank and Tyson Foods to donate food to the High Plains Food Bank.

10,000 of canned veggies from the law firm, and about 30,000 pounds of frozen chicken from Tyson were donated to the food bank.

Friday afternoon, those groups handed it all over the food bank, at a time the food bank said they need it most.

"It couldn't come at a better time for us as we are entering the fall season and getting ready for our fall distribution," Zack Wilson of the High Plains Food Bank said. "And the holidays of course, so this will really go a long for us. (It's)really a great kick start for us for the fall."
