COLLINGSWORTH COUNTY, TEXAS -- A 29-year-old Wellington woman was killed in a rollover crash Thursday evening in Collingsworth County.
Maria Margarita Alvarado, 29, was driving westbound on FM 1642 when she, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety, failed to drive in a single lane and lost control. She was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer.
DPS said the vehicle overturned multiple times and ejected Alvarado.
Alvarado was pronounced dead at the scene at 7:20 p.m.
She was not wearing a seat belt, DPS said.
