CANYON, TEXAS -- Randall County Commissioners issued an order earlier this week to ban all outdoor fires in the unincorporated areas of the county.

The ban, according to the order, lasts until Feb. 11, or when the commissioners or County Judge lift the ban.

If a person violated the order, it is a Class C misdemeanor punishable by a fine of up to $500.
