AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The public is invited to the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast Tuesday, Nov. 20 at the Amarillo Civic Center.
For more than 20 years, the Amarillo Community Prayer Breakfast has been bringing the residents of the Panhandle together to honor God and prayer for our city, state, nation and world.
This year's guest speaker is former Amarillo resident and Olympic Gold Medalist Brandon Slay. Twelve years ago, Brandon Slay rose to worldwide acclaim by winning the Gold Medal in Freestyle Wrestling at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia.
Serving lines open at 6:00am and the program starts at 7:00am. Event organizers guarantee the event will end by 8am. Tickets are $5.
