AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Stanley Marsh 3 could face additional charges once the case is presented to a Grand Jury.

Lubbock County District Attorney Matthew Powell is heading the case for Potter County’s District Attorney Randall Sims who he said “didn’t feel was in the best interest of the case for him to stay on as prosecutor.”

Powell states that within the next few weeks the case will be presented to Potter County’s Grand Jury. At that time they could possibly present more charges and from there they will determine whether or not there is probable cause to go forward on the charges filled Wednesday.

Marsh was charged with 11 different felony counts of child molestation. He faces six counts of sexual assault and five counts of sexual performance by a child that involve two alleged victims.

Marsh is widely known for his Cadillac Ranch and his infamous signs throughout the city of Amarillo.
