AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Out and about this next week, the Texas Department of Transportation says motorists can expect delays throughout Amarillo because of construction projects.
Paul Braun, TxDOT spokesman, said all projects are subject to change because of the weather, emergency work and other unexpected events.
-- On IH-40, expect lane closures in both directions from Adkinson Road to Loop 335 (Soncy) for edgework.
-- On IH-40, expect lane closures in both directions from the IH-27 Interchange to the US 287 split for patching.
-- On the US 287/87 frontage roads, expect continued lane closures in both directions from 11th Street to Loop 335 (St. Francis) for crack sealing.
-- On the IH 40 frontage roads, expect lane closures between Georgia and Western Streets for a continuing ADA pedestrian ramp project. There will be various lane closures along the frontage roads and on Paramount Street as well.
