AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Salvation Army will be hosting their annual Christmas day lunch from 12 to 2 p.m.

Guests can enjoy the comforts of home down at the shelter, where volunteers will be serving up traditional holiday favorites. They've prepared turkey, ham, dressing, mashed potatoes, and desserts to keep all guests coming back for more. All Amarillo residents are encouraged to share their Christmas day at the shelter.

The Salvation Army is low on baked goods, and encourages residents with leftover cakes and pies to drop off their donations directly to the downtown Salvation Army location.
