HOUSTON (AP) - A second person has been charged in connection with Tuesday's shooting at a community college near Houston. At least 10 shots were fired during a dispute between two men at Lone Star College-North Harris. Three people were wounded.
FORT HOOD, Texas (AP) - An Army judge will decide next week whether the man charged in the Fort Hood shootings can plead guilty and be spared the death penalty. Defense attorneys say Major Nidal Hasan wants to plead guilty to 13 counts of premeditated murder. Army rules prohibit a judge from accepting a guilty plea in a death penalty case.
