AMARILLO, TEXAS -- On Sunday morning at approximately 6:24 a.m. Amarillo Police responded to Remedies Pharmacy on a burglary alarm.
When police arrived they noticed the front glass doors had been shattered. Upon further investigation, police noticed a man walking away from the building toward a vehicle parked in a parking lot while carrying several large pill bottles.
Police detained the man who was wearing a mask over his face and observed that his hands were bleeding. Police found the man had been carrying four bottles of Hydrocodone.
The subject was identified as 30-year-old Alan Paul Lucas from Birmingham Alabama. Lucas was booked into the Potter County Correction Center for burglary of a building.
