AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The search at a playa lake in Amarillo is being called off after police said nothing was found.
A fisherman who reeled in a 'clump of hair' prompted the search into the lake on Wednesday. The lake is located near the Western Business Plaza off Western and Hillside.
Divers from the Amarillo Police Department were unable to find any evidence inside the lake and according to Corporal Jerry Neufeld, the search was then called off.
