AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Your furry friend will have a chance to take a photo with Santa Claus during the next two Sundays.
Westgate Mall's annual 'Paws and Claus' pet photo event is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 4 and Sunday, Dec. 11 from 6-8:00 p.m.
It's the perfect opportunity to bring either your cat or dog to Center Court inside the mall where Santa's "Woodland Friends" will be. It's sponsored by Southwest Honda.
Four-legged family members will be able to sit with Santa for a photo and partake in complimentary hors d'oeuvres from Foust Feeds and PetsMart.
Mall officials stress that pets should be leashed or crated for protection. The Amarillo Humane Society will also be on hand to provide pet owners with on-site ID chip insertions. Donations will also be accepted.
The photo packages will be available for purchase from Cherry Hill Photo.
Extended shopping hours for the mall will be start Saturday, Dec. 3. It will be open from noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 4th and from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, December 11th.
