Hundreds of folks spent part of the day at Caprock High School to help raise money for those in our community with multiple sclerosis.

MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the central nervous system and it is something that hundreds of people in the United States suffer from.

Right now, there is no cure for MS, only treatment to help improve the quality of life.

Saturday's annual Walk MS drew out about 600 people, to help raise money for people like Lindsay Currie who live with the disease. "I personally have MS and it's great to see all the people supporting what the MS Society does here and all the people suffering. Hopefully we can find a cure."

Besides walking, vendor expos were set up, a silent auction, and even Amarillo's indoor football team, the Venom were on hand.
