LUBBOCK, TEXAS -- More than 800 students graduated Texas Tech University Health and Science Center Saturday afternoon in Lubbock.
The students graduated from the schools of medicine, nursing, allied health sciences, pharmacy and the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences.
Brig. Gen. Richard J. Tubb, M.D. spoke at the commcencement ceremony.
Tubb is President Obama's physician and he oversees all health care services in the White House.
The commencement was at the United Spirit Arena, 1701 Indiana Ave.
