AMARILLO -- Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts office will offer a free taxpayer seminar in Amarillo on Thursday, from 6 to 8 p.m.

The seminar will be hosted at the West Texas A&M Small Business Development Center, located at 701 S. Taylor St., Suite 118.

"We want to empower Texas business owners by making resources and information accessible. Conducting these seminars and making our team of tax specialists available provides guidance for businesses," said R.J. DeSilva, spokesperson from the Comptrollers office.

The seminar will give taxpayers the opportunity to learn how to properly fill out tax forms, and file and pay taxes electronically. E-services will also be highlighted so that taxpayers can learn to manage their accounts online. Representatives from the Comptrollers office will be on hand to answer questions and provide assistance to attendees.
