Rides, food and fun await visitors to the Tri-state fair, but those things can be costly. What's a Practicing Parent watching their budget to do? Good news, there's fun for free.

Gate admission is free until 1pm daily.

There are demonstrations and exhibitions every morning and evening in the Rex Baxter building including, the "Thank a Farmer" magic show, the Southwest Dairy Farmers interactive exhibit and many more.

The Quick Quack Petting Zoo opens at 9:30.

The PRCA Rodeo is free Thursday night (with gate admission).
