GROOM, TEXAS -- Cecil and Buffy Gwyn are giving back to the city of Groom in a big way this holiday season.

The Gwyn's created their inaugural Christmas light show as a way to show appreciation for Groom's residents, as well as give back to the community. The family spent all year programming and building the automated show, complete with Christmas music and holiday cheer.

The light show asks that community members and visiting spectators donate canned goods for the Groom Helping Hands Food Pantry. Monetary donations can also be made on site. All donations go directly to the Helping Hands Food Pantry, which help those in need during the holiday season.

The "Gwyn's Family Christmas" will be having a special light show on December 15th, complete with hot cocoa and candy canes distributed by Helping Hands Food Bank volunteers. Santa Claus will also visit from the North Pole for some extra holiday fun! The event will go from 7-9 p.m.
