AMARILLO, TX -- Since our blizzard, kids across the area are outside building snowmen, sledding and shoveling. Sun and snow can be a great combination for fun, but not so great for the skin if they're not wearing sunscreen.

Many Practicing Parents agree it's easy to forget the sunscreen when it's cold outside, but that reflection and glare are a catalyst for a sunburn.

Practicing Parents online recommend these brands to protect the little ones.

*Emily: Neutrogena Pure & Free Baby Sunblock. "My boys have sensitive skin, and this one is SPF 60, without fragrance and contains naturally-sourced sunscreen ingredients. It has broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection and is waterproof and sweatproof," she said.

*Mandi: Arbonne Baby Sunscreen. "My middle child breaks out with a rash from almost every sunscreen I've tried. It works great for his sensitive skin, I even use it too!"

*Terri: "It has to be waterproof and SPF 50."

*Becky says to remember their eyes and put on sunglasses as well.

Some simple tips to keep the kids from feeling the effects of all that fun in the sun and snow.
