PAMPA, TEXAS -- *UPDATED* The Texas Rangers are investigating an officer involved shooting that left one person dead Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Lt. Colby Brown of the Pampa Police Department, one person was killed in the shooting located in the shopping complex in the 2100 block of North Hobart.  DPS officials have confirmed the victim was David Mahlon Scott, 45.

Witnesses told Pronews 7 the incident involved a domestic dispute.
